Note from the editor. Earlier, Theosophy Forward highlighted the English translation an article in TF’s category THE SOCIETY, written by Saskia Campert that first was published in the Dutch magazine THEOSOFIA.

It is fascinating to take note of various theosophical (or Theosophy related) publications which appear in local languages of which many of us are not aware. The Brazilian magazine SOPHIA is published six times per year in the Portuguese language. Its initiator and editor-in-chief, Marcos Luís Borges de Resende, is a well-known lawyer operating in Brasilia and for many years he has been active, occupying various functions in the Theosophical Society. Sophia’s objective is to reach out to a broad audience, people who are genuinely interested in spirituality as such, and who, by going over the many and diverse articles might find their way to Theosophy or theosophical literature. With this approach one could say that Sophia functions as a portal to Theosophy.

My name is Patrizia Moschin Calvi and I am in the TS since 1982.

My name Paolo Romeo and I have been a member of the TS since 1985.

My name is Pietro Francesco Cascino, I’m from Milan and member of the TS since 1993.

My name is Enrico Stagni, I live in a small village in the province of Vicenza, Northern Italy. I joined the Italian Theosophical Society in 2009 and I’ve been a member of the Italian Section since then.

My name is Pier Giorgio Parola. I have always lived in Italy, in Turin, and I have been a member of TS since 1973.

My name is Marina De Grandis, I am from Italy, and I have been a member of the TS since1998.

Saskia Campert LLM, part of the editorial board, submitted an English translation to me of an article, based on the thoughts and theses of BERNARDO KASTRUP, a Brazilian-born, Dutch philosopher and computer scientist This article appeared in Theosofia some time ago.

Saskia is a lifelong student of Theosophy, an active member and secretary of the “Zeeland Center.”
