Theosophical Search is a handy web-based, program that leverages the Google or Bing search engines to search classic Theosophical books and Theosophical websites. Theosophical Search can be accessed by most electronic devices such as computers, tablets, phones, etc., and can be found at the following link:

The Theosophical Search application was designed to assist Theosophical researchers, speakers and authors in quickly locating materials in web-based resources using keywords or literal strings (i.e., exact text.)

For example, you may want to search for a literal string such as “higher manas” in H. P. Blavatsky’s Collected Writings to find what she had written on the subject. This search returns approximately twenty results. Sometimes the webpage that you have selected may be rather lengthy, so you may want to use your browser’s “Page search” function to highlight all the places where the string that you are searching for is used on that page. Another example is that you may want to search multiple Theosophical websites for the Adyar Pamphlets.

The results that are returned depend on the selected search engine, selected books or websites as well as the actual content of the websites themselves.

The Theosophical Search application is intended for the Theosophical community worldwide, all are invited to use the tool in their work or perhaps for just surfing and exploring.

The “About” menu item on the web site has some detailed instructions on how to make use of the site.
The “Contact” menu item takes you to a page where you can contact the web master with corrections to bad links and suggestions for new sites to be added.
